Description
Teal, emerald, lime and navy ripple across this teal shaggy rug in two broad diagonal waves, like light moving through deep water. Samba Teal shapes each wave from graduated ombre stripes, with carved lines between them so the bands stand out from the long, glossy pile. Underfoot it is thick and fluffy; on the floor it gives a living room or bedroom an instant jolt of colour.
The S-shaped bands run corner to corner, blending inky navy, teal and emerald with a bright flash of lime. It loves jewel tones: a navy or bottle-green velvet sofa, brass lamps, dark walnut and a few rust or mustard cushions to warm it up. The 160 x 230 cm size is just right in front of a three-seater sofa, or laid sideways under the lower half of a double bed.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the room and use the room planner above: it suggests a size that leaves 30–60 cm of floor showing around the rug. As a rule of thumb, 160 x 230 cm suits a living room with a three-seater sofa, with the front legs on the rug, and works across the lower half of a double bed.
How do I look after my rug?
Shake it out or vacuum regularly. For shaggy rugs, use a suction-only setting or switch the beater bar off, and work in the direction of the pile. Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing. For a deeper clean, use a professional rug cleaner.
Will my new rug shed?
New rugs, especially shaggy ones, can release a few loose fibres at first. This is normal and settles with regular vacuuming. If a single strand stands proud, snip it level with the pile rather than pulling it out.
Do I need an underlay, and can I use it with underfloor heating?
On wooden, laminate or tiled floors we recommend a rug underlay or gripper to keep the rug in place and add cushioning. If you have underfloor heating, check your heating system's guidance on rugs and underlays before laying.
How do delivery and returns work?
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. Your rug arrives rolled, so let it lie flat for a day or two to relax. If the colour or size isn't right, you can return it unused within 30 days and we pay the return postage.
