Description
Like low winter light striking ice, the large diamond facets of this powder blue geometric rug have a crisp, crystalline quality. Solstice pairs grey with cool powder blue, brightening a living room or home office without tipping into pastel. Carved outlines define each facet sharply, and faint marble striations inside the diamonds add soft, stony depth. It feels especially fresh in a sunny, south-facing room.
Large diamond-shaped facets in grey and powder blue repeat across the rug, with carved channels between each plane and faint marble striations inside. Pair it with pale grey or white walls, a charcoal or navy sofa, birch plywood and brushed nickel. The generous scale shines at 200 x 290 cm under a three-seater, while 160 x 230 cm suits a mid-sized lounge and the 60 x 230 cm runner a hallway.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting without a beater bar, following the pile; blot spills straight away; professional clean when needed.
Tip: use an anti-slip underlay on hard floors. It keeps the rug flat and makes vacuuming easier.
Delivery & returns
Free delivery to UK mainland addresses. Larger rugs are heavy, so it helps to have a second pair of hands on delivery day.
If your rug isn't right, return it unused within 30 days and we'll cover the return postage. Your refund goes back to your original payment method.

Facet questions
What size geometric rug do I need for my living room?
Measure your seating area first. In a compact living room, 150 x 200 cm or 160 x 230 cm usually sits under the front legs of the sofa and chairs. For a large three-seater or an open-plan layout, 200 x 290 cm anchors the whole group. Aim to leave 20 to 30 cm of floor visible around the edges.
How do I clean and care for a Facet rug?
Vacuum regularly on a suction setting, working with the direction of the pile, and blot spills promptly with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing. For stubborn marks, use a little mild detergent in cool water and test on a hidden corner first. Always follow the care label supplied with your rug.
Will a new Facet rug shed?
Like most new rugs with a cut pile, a Facet rug can release a few loose fibres in its first weeks. This is normal and settles with regular vacuuming. Avoid pulling at any tufts that stand proud of the surface; simply trim them level with a pair of scissors instead.
Can I use a Facet rug over underfloor heating, and do I need an underlay?
Most rugs can be used over underfloor heating as long as the system stays within its manufacturer's recommended floor temperature, so check your system's guidance first. On hard floors we recommend a quality rug underlay: it helps keep the rug in place, adds comfort underfoot and protects the back of the rug.
How much is delivery, and can I return my rug?
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. If the rug is not right for your room, you have 30 days to return it with postage paid, so you can check the size, colour and texture in your own home before making up your mind.
