What does tipped faux fur mean?
Tipped faux fur has fibres whose tips are finished in a different shade from the base, creating a frosted, two-tone effect. On our Lilac rug, for example, lilac tips sit over a deeper plum base, while Grey pairs a slate base with silver tips. It gives a plain rug depth and a soft glow.
How is Frost different from Cosset and Chalet?
Frost is the only one of our faux furs with a frosted two-tone tipped finish, and its pile is short to medium. Cosset is shorter, denser and velvety, in ten solid shades, while Chalet is our longest, thickest and most opulent plush. All three are soft, but each has its own look.
Will a Frost faux fur rug shed?
A new faux fur rug can release a few loose fibres at first; this is normal and settles with regular, gentle care. Vacuum with a suction-only attachment rather than a rotating brush bar, shake smaller sizes out, and brush the fur lightly in one direction to keep the frosted tips looking even.
How should I clean it, and do I need an underlay?
Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing, and check the care label before using any cleaning product. On wood, laminate or tiles, add a rug underlay to help the rug stay in place, and check your heating manufacturer's guidance if you have underfloor heating.
Is delivery free, and can I return my rug?
