Description
Barely-there florals drift across this cream and beige distressed floral rug, bringing a relaxed, farmhouse feel to a bedroom, living room or hallway. Hungerford has an all-over floral pattern, distressed for a faded, worn-in look and framed by a wide ivory border. The low high-low pile is soft to the touch, with a slight sheen that lifts the pale palette.
An all-over floral pattern in cream and beige is worn back in places for a faded, vintage finish, then framed by a wide ivory border. Pair it with warm white or stone walls, painted furniture, oak, linen and pewter for a calm cottage look. The 66 x 230 cm runner suits a narrow hall, 120 x 170 cm a bedside, and 160 x 230 cm a living room.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting; blot spills straight away and spot clean with mild detergent; professional clean when needed.
Tip: use an anti-slip underlay on hard floors. It keeps the rug flat and makes vacuuming easier.

Patina questions
Which size runner do I need for my hallway?
Measure the length and width of your hallway and leave a strip of floor showing on each side. The 66 x 230 cm runner suits most standard hallways and landings, while 80 x 300 cm covers longer or wider halls. Ludlow Blue and Charcoal is available in room sizes only.
How do I clean a Patina rug?
Vacuum regularly on a low setting without a beater bar, following the direction of the pile. Blot spills straight away with a clean white cloth, then spot clean gently with cold water and a little mild detergent. Avoid soaking the rug, and use a professional rug cleaner for a deeper clean.
Does the rug shed, and how thick is the pile?
Patina rugs have a low high-low pile, so they sit comfortably under furniture and suit busy hallways. New rugs can release a few loose fibres at first; this settles with regular vacuuming. The worn, distressed areas are part of the design and not a sign of damage.
Do I need an underlay, and is it suitable for underfloor heating?
On wooden, tiled or stone floors, especially in hallways, we recommend a good rug underlay to help keep the rug or runner in place. With underfloor heating, choose an underlay designed for it and check your heating manufacturer's guidance before laying any rug.
What are your delivery and returns terms?
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. If your rug or runner is not quite right, you can send it back within 30 days with postage paid, so you can check the colour, texture and fit in your own home first.
