Description
Stained glass lit from behind is the effect of this rainbow geometric rug, where rings of colour nest inside honeycomb hexagons on a black ground. Macaw brings drama to a living room or teenager's bedroom, and the heat-set carved pile raises every ring in crisp 3D relief with a slight sheen. The dark base keeps it sophisticated, as happy beside velvet and walnut as a busy family sofa.
Hexagons filled with concentric rings of rainbow colour sit on black, creating a bold, jewel-box effect. It suits darker schemes: charcoal or deep green walls, black metal, walnut and velvet in plum, mustard or teal. The 160 x 230 cm size anchors a sofa, 120 x 170 cm suits a den, 80 x 150 cm fits a bedside, and the 66 x 230 cm runner turns a hallway into a statement.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting without a beater bar, following the pile; blot spills straight away; professional clean when needed.
Tip: use an anti-slip underlay on hard floors. It keeps the rug flat and makes vacuuming easier.

Free delivery to UK mainland addresses. Larger rugs are heavy, so it helps to have a second pair of hands on delivery day.
If your rug isn't right, return it unused within 30 days and we'll cover the return postage. Your refund goes back to your original payment method.

Good to know
Prism questions
Is a Prism rug a good choice for a kids' room or playroom?
Prism was put together with bright, playful rooms in mind. The busy rainbow patterns are forgiving of everyday family life and give children a colourful spot for games and reading. On hard floors, add a rug underlay to help keep the rug flat and in place, and vacuum regularly to keep the colours looking fresh.
Which size should I choose for a playroom or living room?
For a playroom or kids' bedroom, 120 x 170 cm creates a defined play zone, while the 133 x 133 cm square, available in selected designs, suits a reading nook. In a living room, 160 x 230 cm sits under the front legs of your sofa. The 66 x 230 cm runner fits most hallways and landings.
How do I clean a Prism rug?
Vacuum regularly on a suction setting, following the direction of the pile. Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing, then treat any remaining mark with a little mild detergent in cool water, testing a hidden corner first. Always check the care label that comes with your rug.
What does the carved 3D pile mean, and will it shed?
The pile is heat-set and carved along the lines of the pattern, so each shape sits slightly raised with a subtle sheen. Like most new cut-pile rugs, it may release a few loose fibres at first; this settles with regular vacuuming. Trim any stray tuft level with scissors rather than pulling it.
How do delivery and returns work?
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. If the rug does not suit your room, you have 30 days to send it back with postage paid, which makes it easy to check the size and colours in your own home before you decide to keep it.
