Description
Shattered glass is the idea behind this dark grey and pale grey metallic abstract rug, where a dense web of straight silver lines crosses cloudy grey. Bardiglio is sharp, modern and full of light, a strong choice for a contemporary living room, bedroom or hallway. The low, heat-set polypropylene pile is easy-care and practical for busy homes, and the raised, shiny lines give each fracture a crisp glint.
A dense web of straight silver lines crosses a cloudy dark and pale grey ground, like frosted, shattered glass. Pair with white or charcoal walls, a grey velvet or black leather sofa, chrome, mirror and glass for a sleek, modern look. The 66 x 230 cm runner suits a hallway, 160 x 225 cm most living rooms, and 200 x 290 cm anchors a large corner sofa.

Care
Vacuum regularly on a low setting; blot spills straight away and spot clean with mild detergent; professional clean when needed.
Tip: use an anti-slip underlay on hard floors. It keeps the rug flat and makes vacuuming easier.

Good to know
Marmo questions
What size marble rug should I choose for my living room?
For most UK living rooms, 160 x 225 cm sits neatly in front of a sofa with its front legs resting on the rug. In a larger or open-plan space, the 200 x 290 cm size, available in our core colourways, anchors a three-seater and armchairs as one zone.
Are the silver and gold lines real metal?
No. The metallic look comes from raised, shiny accent lines in the pile, which catch the light like polished stone. The whole rug is 100% heat-set polypropylene, so there is no metal thread to tarnish over time.
How do I clean a Marmo rug?
Polypropylene is easy-care. Vacuum regularly on a low setting with the beater bar switched off to protect the raised lines, and blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid rubbing, and use a specialist rug cleaner for stubborn marks.
Can I use a Marmo rug in a hallway?
Yes. Selected colourways of Carrara, Calacatta, Portoro, Bardiglio and Nero come as a 66 x 230 cm runner, and the low pile sits neatly under most doors. On hard floors, add a rug underlay beneath it to help it stay flat and in place.
Is delivery free, and can I return my rug?
Yes. Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses, and you have 30 days to return your rug with postage paid if it is not right for your room. It is a good way to see the metallic accents in your own light.
