What does embossed or carved mean on an Etch rug?
The pattern is carved into the pile in high-low relief, so the lines sit at a slightly different height from the surrounding surface. It creates a tactile, embossed effect you can see and feel, with the design picked out by shadow as much as by colour.
What size rug do I need for a hallway?
Measure the length and width of your hallway first. The 80 x 300 cm long runner suits longer hallways and landings, while 80 x 150 cm works well inside a front door or in a shorter entrance. Aim to leave a little floor visible at each end and along both sides.
How do I clean and care for a textured rug?
