Is Chalet a real sheepskin?
No. Chalet is faux fur, and each rug is a neat rectangle rather than a sheepskin shape. It's made for people who love the cosy feel of a sheepskin rug but prefer faux fur and a tidier outline for bedsides, dressing tables and reading nooks.
Will a long-pile faux fur rug shed, and how do I care for it?
A few loose fibres at first are normal with a long, thick pile and settle with gentle, regular care. Shake the rug out, vacuum with a suction-only attachment rather than a rotating brush, blot spills with a clean, damp cloth and check the care label before using any product.
