Description
Crisp ivory tracery on an inky ground makes this black Moroccan outdoor rug the most graphic way to dress a contemporary deck. The Seville quatrefoil lattice has the rhythm of Moroccan tilework, and the flatweave construction keeps it low and neat beneath loungers and coffee tables. Designed for outdoor use, it is just as happy inside, anchoring a garden room or a monochrome kitchen.
Ivory quatrefoils link into a continuous lattice, finished with a double-line border that squares everything off neatly. Against black, the pattern looks sharp and modern, so pair it with charcoal composite decking, powder-coated aluminium furniture, galvanised planters and plenty of green foliage. The 200 x 290 cm size suits a corner sofa set; 120 x 170 cm fits a balcony or the space in front of kitchen doors.

Care
Shake out or brush off debris; spot clean with mild soapy water and let it dry fully flat; roll and store indoors over winter.
Tip: use an anti-slip underlay on hard floors. It keeps the rug flat and makes vacuuming easier.

Alfresco questions
Can I leave an Alfresco rug outside all year?
Alfresco rugs are flatweaves designed for outdoor use on patios, decks and balconies. To keep yours looking its best, bring it indoors or roll it away in prolonged wet weather and over the winter months, and make sure it is fully dry before you store it. Avoid laying it on waterlogged ground or lawn.
Can I use an outdoor rug indoors?
Yes. The sisal-look two-tone flatweave looks just as good inside, which is why many customers use theirs as an indoor outdoor rug in kitchens, conservatories, garden rooms and boot rooms. The flat, low-profile weave sits neatly beneath dining tables and chairs. On smooth indoor floors, add a rug underlay to help keep it in place.
What size outdoor rug do I need for a dining set?
Measure your table and add about 60 cm on every side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. As a guide, 150 x 200 cm suits a small table for two to four, 200 x 290 cm fits most six-seat dining sets, and 240 x 340 cm suits larger tables, benches or a corner sofa.
How do I clean an outdoor rug?
Shake it out or sweep it regularly to remove leaves, soil and grit, and vacuum it indoors without a beater bar. Blot spills promptly with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing. Always check the care label before using any cleaning product, and let the rug dry flat before rolling it up or bringing it back inside.
How is delivery and can I return a rug?
Every Alfresco rug comes with free UK mainland delivery. Larger sizes arrive rolled, so lay the rug flat for a day or two to let it relax. If the colour or size is not right, you have 30 days to return it, and return postage is paid.
