Description
Heritage motifs in warm, natural tones make this natural textured tribal rug a gentle bridge between traditional and modern rooms. Eden's Kazak-style hooked medallions and goblet motifs sit in a framed field, carved in high-low relief so they catch the light rather than shout for attention. Choose it for a farmhouse kitchen-diner, cottage living room or calm bedroom where natural materials lead.
Hooked medallions and goblet motifs fill a framed field in natural, earthy tones, their carved outlines adding a tactile, embossed quality. Pair it with limewashed walls, pine or oak, stoneware, jute and a leather armchair for a warm, lived-in look. The 150 x 200 cm size suits a bedroom, 200 x 290 cm a large living room, 120 x 170 cm a kitchen-diner corner, and the 80 x 300 cm runner a cottage hallway.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting without a beater bar, following the pile; blot spills straight away; professional clean when needed.
Tip: use an anti-slip underlay on hard floors. It keeps the rug flat and makes vacuuming easier.

Free delivery to UK mainland addresses. Larger rugs are heavy, so it helps to have a second pair of hands on delivery day.
If your rug isn't right, return it unused within 30 days and we'll cover the return postage. Your refund goes back to your original payment method.

Etch questions
What does embossed or carved mean on an Etch rug?
The pattern is carved into the pile in high-low relief, so the lines sit at a slightly different height from the surrounding surface. It creates a tactile, embossed effect you can see and feel, with the design picked out by shadow as much as by colour.
What size rug do I need for a hallway?
Measure the length and width of your hallway first. The 80 x 300 cm long runner suits longer hallways and landings, while 80 x 150 cm works well inside a front door or in a shorter entrance. Aim to leave a little floor visible at each end and along both sides.
How do I clean and care for a textured rug?
Vacuum regularly on a suction setting, moving with the direction of the carved lines. Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing, then use a little mild detergent in cool water if needed, testing a hidden area first. Always follow the care label supplied with your rug.
Can I use an Etch rug over underfloor heating, and do I need an underlay?
Rugs can usually be used over underfloor heating as long as your system stays within its manufacturer's recommended floor temperature, so check its guidance first. On hard floors we recommend a good-quality rug underlay, which helps keep the rug in place and adds a little extra comfort underfoot.
What are your delivery and returns terms?
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. If your rug is not quite right, you have 30 days to return it with postage paid, giving you time to check the size, colour and texture in your own home and your own light.
